First I will say this was s very slow burn....... I didn't really like Cate until maybe 70% in. She reminded me too much of another fmc that was taken by fae.... Otherwise the story did seem to pick and get more action packed and then ending was a cliff hanger... I will continue to the next book.

Looking out for younger siblings is always difficult. Cate is willing to do anything to protect her baby brother. She just isn’t fully aware of what’s she agreeing to before she quickly finds her world turned upside down.
I loved the MCs banter and was pleasantly surprised by the twist at the end. The spice was good, with lots of attraction and lots of stuttering starts before the MCs finally give in fully.
