Another great SG trade! The creative is hitting Homer after Homer on this book. Really digging the origins and revealing of the Earth 65 characters.

Read via Marvel Unlimited.

Should have been combined with volume 3. Too short and though I appreciate that a bit more happened to advance the storyline, it still got a bit convoluted. I did love how Wolverine in this universe is known as "Mr. Murderhands".

Includes my favorite issue co-written and drawn by Hannah Blumenreich. It focuses on the Mary Janes and being friends with a superhero. Delightful and funny and fantastic art

Alternate worlds, sigh. Pointless and lame. With bad art and not especially good writing. Sure characters show up and they suck. Or at least suck a little. There's a bit of nice band stuff at the end. But mostly the book is just whiny and annoying.

I love Spider-Gwen comics; they make for a really fun alternate universe, with gorgeous art and fun banter. Highly recommend!

Ahhh I love the way this is becoming more and more edgy. I adore seeing the way characters from the 616-universe have changed in this universe — like Elsa Brock being the one to introduce the venom symbiote and Shadowcat having been a Weapon X experiment as well. The moral dilemma Gwen is in, trying to help her father but also having to work with the Kingpin, it’s all so fun while not shying away from how serious her situation has become. Yet, there are still some hilarious moments that add some levity and I liked the additional issue following her band, who are debating whether Gwen really is a superhero or not.
