This story was like a teenage version of The Rosie Project, and I think it's an important novel to read. I enjoyed seeing events from both Kit's and David's wildly different perspectives. I appreciate how the author didn't shy away from Kit's  insecurities or depressive thoughts. Some parts for David were painful and heartbreaking as I know of others dealing with the same toxic social situations he experienced. All in all, a great read. My one issue was that the cover blurb emphasized some sort of investigation that Kit and David undertake, however that was hardly in any of the actual events of the novel, so it felt misleading as I was expecting more a mystery/investigation type of novel.
