This book had a kind of slow start. It took me about half the book to become invested and to question what was going to happen next, but once I started questioning it I couldn’t stop. This book was sweet and a nice read if you’re looking for something cute.

The book was not amazing but it wasn't exactly great so it deserves a three. The only person with decent character development is kit.

5 stars

The only reason this gets 5 stars is because of David. Kit was just extra, and I found myself not really caring much about her at all. She annoyed me. David charmed me. I need a David in my life please.

This has been in my to-read pile forever and I'm glad I finally read it. Sweet, compelling, like Fangirl and The Rosie Project. David and Kit and their families all feel so real and loveable. As an educator, I hope I'd do better than school did for him.
