3.5 stars rounded up to 4. First off, thank you to the publishers and goodreads giveaways for allowing me access to an ARC of this book.
Warsaw Shire creates emotional, powerful pieces of poetry on the topics of experiences of refugees, immigration, womanhood, religion, and family. The pacing of the book is well thought out with explanations to current events a poem is referencing to on the poem page. One thing I would have liked to see is the glossary of terms at the beginning of the book for me to know about and reference to when I was reading each poem.
