I got this for the ‘demon’ poem however after reviewing another copy, I realised this book just translated words and not meanings which is why it was so… bland. If you want better translations that focus on conveying the authors original intent for his phrases then I suggest going elsewhere. I read the demon translated from Alex Condie Stephen (1875) which included an excellent foreword diving into Lemontov’s early life and career and commentating on the demon.
