I would like this British man to tell me more about plants. Audiobook format is preferable for this.

Ah Monty, what you don't know about gardening isn't worth knowing. This is a delightful gardening book, infinitely readable and full of sensible advice for the novice and the professional alike.

This is nice to listen to because Monty is such a lovely narrator... but since this is essentially lists and lists of tips and recommendations, a physical reference copy would be a more practical format for the content.
It is (unfortunately) inspiring and as I listened I redesiged my garden and several fantasy gardens multiple times, if only it were that easy!
On the downside Monty Don is apparently a bit unclear about bees, and he states that when bees sting they invariably die. Talking about honeybees as the Every Bee is a pet hate, and given that he talks about bees with some authority here it was a bit aggravating. But mostly no harm done and his tips for creating a nature garden are hard to argue with.
