 My mom has a thing for coffee table books.  This is her most recent purchase, and she pushed it into my hands as soon as she finished it. I understand why, because it provides a fascinating overview of Christian churches across the globe through pictures.  While I did find it interesting, and lovely to flip through, I had a few issues with it.  Some of the descriptions mentioned the inside of a church while only providing a picture of the exterior, or vice versa.  I wish that hadn’t been the case.  If you’re going to detail this important piece of interior architecture, please let me see it!  Also, some of the pictures themselves could have been better.  I’ve personally seen better pictures of a handful of these churches elsewhere.  If you’re publishing an art book of any kind, I think you should ensure that you’re presenting the loveliest photos possible.  All of that being said, I still found this an interesting read.  It was a tour around the world unlike any other I’ve experienced.

Loved all the pictures, although I had seen most of them before. It would make a good coffee table book.

I loved this book gives you beautiful pictures with snipit information about each church in the photo about the history, location, building materials and the time it was built or the person behind the design. I just loved this book. Also it broke it down by continent (Ex. North America, Asia). I want to read this again in print form!!!

An amazing book that made me travel all over the world. Wonder pictures and interesting descriptions.

This is a lovely book which contains many photographs of churches around the world. The photographs are categorized based on the continent.
Since I really enjoy architecture, this book was amazing to me.
