SEEKER OF TRUTH dropped some huge bombs about John's past but it also created more questions. John spends the majority of the book separate from Caleb and Gray as he investigates his past, helped by Night and Ryan. Meanwhile Caleb and Gray work with Zahira (so glad to have her back!) on a SPECTR case. Things are obviously amping up with some big revelations and I can't wait to see what happens.

Content Warning: past suicide attempt; gaslighting; forced possession; mental manipulation; institutional abuse

Exciting but too short. It has a complete story line with progress on the series plot but as always, I was left wanting more. This series runs to short novellas, this just seemed shorter than most.

Length aside, I’m eager to see what is in store for John, Caleb, and Grey after all the revelations. I’m not sure if I trust Ryan but time will tell. The sex was hot and I love the dynamic these three have.

In every installation of this series you can find a pillar of horror genre when it comes to locations, and Seeker of Truth didn’t disappoint. When it comes to creepy, you really can’t beat an abandoned facility where they used to subject innocent kids to traumatic experiments. Hawk is a master of tension, and you could practically taste it when John was going though the building and remembering bits and pieces of his past. The mystery of what the hell happened to John is on the verge of unveiling and I am vibrating with anticipation.

The plot really gets thickening with this one.  This conspiracy involving John got me on the edge of my seat and just as confused and concerned as the characters

Doesn't get much better than this. We've got almost the whole Princess Bride quote here: fighting, revenge, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles? (depends on your definition?) with some extras like dark mysteries. Loved the return of a certain character. This was just the escape I needed. Can't wait for the next one but I'll have to do my best.

Okay seriously that ending??!! I was reading and reading and then STOP end of book! Loved every minute of it and I’m glad I have the next one in the series.

Absolutely stunning.

I adore Night.

The intrigue is really piling up. To quote a message I sent to a friend after I finished:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Devoured this one. I love Gray so damn much. I love where this is going with John, and I'm very curious about Night. Please, I want the next one now.

I adore this series. Jordan Hawk has a wonderful flair for suspense & mystery on top of the fascinating relationships. He always leaves me wanting more...especially in this episodic series.
