Elizabeth is a total badass. A definite role model for girls/ women. A lot of tragedy throughout this novel, but hope continues to remain. I loved the characters and was enthralled with their stories. Great, fun, not-so-light-hearted, read!

There were some unexpected traumatic things at the start which was a bit jarring, but following that I really loved this book!

I really liked that the main character didn’t change throughout the book. Usually I only like a book that has a lot of character development but this book the main character stayed true to herself and showed up an apologetically as herself and I think it was a really powerful way to show that, despite people trying to get you to conform to society, you can be incredibly successful by being authentic.

This would’ve been a 5 star rating from me if the dog didn’t have his thoughts written throughout. Ruined it slightly for me I can’t lie.
