not gonna lie - i quite enjoyed this!! haven’t read a Megan Quinn novel in a while but she writes some gooooood spice. loved the adult summer camp, although some aspects were certainly out of my personal comfort zone, loved the story as a whole.

Wilder is certainly a PGOM and i have major respect for him knowing the difference between a Diet Coke, Coke Zero & Coca Cola. he’s also right that different spots have better and/or worse cokes.

Scottie’s (love that name) growth was great to see & glad she found herself a fake husband, and found herself through her time at camp.

This was a nice post-fantasy pallette cleanser!! Something light, funny and spicy but with summer vibes. It does, however, tackle tough mental health topics and life after divorce + the death of a parent.

I enjoyed the greenest flag of MMCs in Wilder - how he helped heal parts of Scottie she didn't know needed healing and treated her the way she deserved to be treated. The therapy representation was wonderful but the therapist annoyed me and didn't need to be described as much as he was but it did add to the ambience so.

I laughed out loud so many times listening to this it is almost embarrassing. The situations are pretty far fetched (I tried to picture my boss behaving the way Scottie’s boss did and I couldn’t make it happen), but since I’m all about reading for fun, it’s pleasant when authors have a little fun! Wilder is hysterical. The improv scenes with him and Scottie are golden. I enjoyed this very much. Narration was stellar !

I absolutely enjoyed this book! I love the characters of Scottie and Wilder. I loved that they had a heavy back story. The growth in their relationship was perfect. Chapter 11 was hilarious 😂! A very well written book!
