I enjoyed the last third of the book the most. Before that it felt static with little movement in the characters and plot. Hence the book took longer for me to read than I expected it to. Generally cute though and I enjoyed the different viewpoints and timelines.
3-3.5?... this was enough like other enemies to lovers, renovation-based forced proximity that I needed something more from it to be impressed. i didn't like the characters from the beginning and still just mostly tolerated them by the end. tarah gets better with the subsequent novels, but this one just didn't sell me on the love story 🙈

Enjoyed this one but not quite as much as the other two. Still good in its own standing.
I dislike charactes with empty hate . it's OK to hate someone but don't be childish. hate is a strong emotion it needs a good reason . if the reason is childish it will make the person holding it look weak and shallow and in this FMC case abit of a brat . women up !!yuck
