Soo good, a little confused and lots to think about. Did feel a little unsafe after reading, and not sure i agree with all the actions of the women but feel it was beyond justified. Not a very satisfying ending but I suppose that was part of the point!

It was stunning; compulsive and disturbing all at once. A challenging but worthwhile read but not for the faint-hearted!

That was disappointing. When the book initially began with the male protagonist's perspective, I was intrigued to see how this novel would play out. Then, as it unravelled, it became a confusing mess of very superficial feminist arguments – not that I disagreed with much of what was being said, it just felt clumsy and forced in the context of the story. What really frustrated me was the conclusive reveal. I felt like it completely undermined everything that had been set up throughout the narrative. There were elements of nuance that were touched on briefly, but it mostly read to me as a slightly condescending and smug text where all the characters were not only simplistic but also very dislikeable. Again, for the most part, I could agree with the (many) insights that the story was attempting to cover, I just think it came across completely wrong and left me feeling very irritated by the end.
