Catch me taking this book to my mom to show her an amalgam of all of the men I have ever dated. Cole is literally that.
I really, really enjoyed this!! I didn't give it 5 stars because I thought the end was a little corny, but this is still sitting at a solid 4.75 ⭐️ for me! There were some conversations between the female characters that made me tear up and there was a gross satisfaction in the way that Cole is treated by culture at the end of the book because it is so accurate to the way that these men are treated my society all the time.
A quick read and the audiobook is a *performance*. Loved!

This book was much more than a thrilling story and complex relationships. Thoroughly enjoyed this, the beginning took a little while to fully invest in but the rest of the book had me hooked.
Imagine a story in which you think all the women characters are unlikable, and you’re both right and wrong simultaneously. Think the characters were so polar to prove a point here.
Little gem quotes hide in the plot of this book, and while the end “twist” was a little over the top, I thought the total package was worth a slightly higher star rating.

It is brilliantly written, I love the style of it. I love the concept behind it, but towards the end I was angered by the twist. I won't say anymore on that as I don't want to ruin it for others. I feel there could have been a better way to do this and still give the overall message.
