This story should have been left as the Edward/ Bella fanfiction it originally was. I enjoyed it as a fanfic - it was decent quality and pretty good for a fanfic story but not as a published work. But get your coins where you can right?

I've read almost every book Cara has written, and even though I often skip novellas, I decided to give this one a try because I really want to read her entire catalog. Cara's age play books are some of my very favorite. It is so hard to find books in this genre that are well written AND sexy. I normally only read age play with m/m relationships, but I'm trying to push my limits a little more, and I know that Cara can pretty much do no wrong.
Now, this book IS a novella so everything is a bit rushed. Dean and Gemma get over the forbidden nature of their relationship pretty quickly, even though Dean does put up somewhat of a fight at first. And then it's just pure wonderful daddy filth.

It was cute! But I didn’t love it as much as I loved her Touch series
Le résumé m'a laissé envisagé une histoire qui avait un potentiel énorme pour me plaire, mais j'ai été un peu déçue. Comme dans la plupart de ce que j'ai pu lire en matière de daddy kink, l'héroïne a une mère très absente, et un beau-père super sexy. Là on a le bonus d'avoir un cadre idyllique, qui se matérialise sous la forme d'une maison de vacance dans les montagnes, sous la neige, en décembre (ou janvier ? bref en hiver). Gemma est une jeune fille un peu rebelle, qui a besoin de plus de discipline et son beau-père paraît parfait pour ce rôle, qu'il va endosser facilement après avoir surmonté ses réticences. Le fait que Gemma découvre les penchants de son beau-père, et s'y conforme très facilement m'a laissé sur ma faim, j'aurais préféré un peu plus de conflit et de tension.
