ngl i predicted like 97% of the stuff in this book by like chapter 2 and any time violet thought about xaden or dain made me want to step into oncoming traffic from cringe,,, but i must admit the dragons were pretty cool and i can’t say i was bored

The most fun fantasy book I've read since ACOTAR. I was gripped by the story and the characters and I'm absolutely DYING for the second book.

I loved the world building, the dragons, the violent nature of the story and all of the lore. It felt so well flushed out and I really appreciated that.
