I give it 2.5 stars.. it took me so long to finish and it's def not as good as everybody says booktok has let me down a lot lately. and I don't really like fantasies that much anyways but yeah. I also don't think xaden and vi had any chemistry!! and xaden was barely in the book until like the last 15-20% and it was so long for no reason!

This was my first time reading a fantasy novel, and I absolutely enjoyed it far beyond what I had expected. It was an easy read that felt very nostalgic from beginning to end. Looking forward to what the story has to bring in the upcoming novels.

Very good, was kicking my feet in the middle, the pace kinda fell off for me at the end with all the fighting but I loved the dragons and the bonds.
