I remember being OBSESSED with this book when I was younger. I'd bring this book everywhere with me. I still own it and if you could see the condition it's in, there's no questioning that this book was my baby. It looks brand new.

I can't wait to reread this along with the rest of the books and see what kind of feelings it'll respark ^_^

This was a fun read, though I did find the plot to be quite slow and meandering at some points. This book is significantly longer than the previous even though it doesn't seem to have much more in it, but it was nice to learn some lore and backstory of characters. I actually preferred the first book to this one. Though I liked it, I don't think I'm going to continue on in the series because I didn't find the plot, stakes, or characters to be compelling enough.

Still a simple read with simple writing, but another great and fantastical adventure filled with magic and unicorns. Girls will love it, boys may think it's too frilly. I mean, a "Rainbow Prison"? Seriously?

Rereading this childhood favorite.

I enjoy the lore of Luster, the characters, and the twist at the end (even though I recalled the twist from when I read it a long time ago).

This book falls into the issues of writing a sequel that continues its story right where the last left off, and the actual writing of a story years after writing the first. It just feels different, so it feels off when reading back to back.

It felt a bit rushed at the end to get its “to be continued.”

Loved, loved, loved the voice actor for Metaphil and the composed song for "Song of the Wanderer." Wished we had more conclusion at the end, though. Felt more like a part one than a book in its own right.

I haven't read this book in so long that it was like reading it for the first time. I'll always have a soft spot for unicorns.

I love how the story unfolds and always has something to keep the reader, young or older, intrigued.

There's something refreshing in reading a simpler book meant for young readers. I think I'm really enjoying it for the nostalgia.
