time slept when swords woke
I'm loving the way the series progresses. There is not a single boring moment. I'm off to Part 2. Ciao.

P.S.
A Song of Ice and Fire is a series that won't disappoint. It only gets better and better. Promise. If you can't accept that as a fact of LIFE then all I've got to say to you is this:
"You know nothing, Jon Snow."

A Song of Ice and Fire (Book Reviews)

2. A Clash of Kings: 5 Royal Stars

Must....Keep....Reading!

I loved this book a lot! There are so many different things going on and each character is so complex. I got really frustrated at the end but I suppose Jon doing what he did was for the best. I found a few bits a bit slow, especially the Jon and Sam chapters but the rest was fantastic! Sansa has really grown on me and I love her parts! Dany is awesome as usual and Tyrion too. Also, Jaime has become one of my favourites, which is strange because I used to hate him. I can't wait to get into the next book. Although I know about the Red Wedding... :(

This was definitely much better than A Clash of Kings. It wasn't too boring and it was interesting to see to build up to what is going to happen in the next half of the book.

One thing I did not enjoy was the lack of plot. There wasn't really much in the book. It felt like I was just being told what was happening to the characters rather than being engrossed in their lives and emotions. Though I feel that the second half will have the epic story I have been looking forward to.
