I am a fan of time travel stories, so it was the title and premise that drew me in right away. It's definitely unique to have female characters as the scientists who discover time travel and become the pioneers of an entire industry around it. And the time travel tropes get a bit of a twist here, as multiple versions of characters can exist and interact with one another without the usual paradoxes that cause issues in these sorts of plots. Plus, incorporating the different reasons for travel is something few novels of this type do - revisiting fond memories and deceased loved ones, collecting items from the past to preserve in the present, finding out future events, political gain and espionage.
I like the way the book was written, with each chapter titled with the character it focuses on as well as the time period in which it is set. The crossed timelines made things interesting and seeing certain characters meet past/future versions of each other required paying a bit of attention. Ultimately, this novel is a murder mystery, so the skipping around definitely kept the mystery going. You don't need to be into scifi, time travel stuff to enjoy this one.

Four women invent time travel. After they achieve success, one member experiences mental health difficulties which the team is determined to cover up. Thus begins a very interesting but rather convoluted mystery in a science fiction environment. Central question is about considering the unintended consequences of science/time travel.
The story is basically about a murder and who might have committed the deed, but the novel is not set up at all like a typical crime novel. There is an extremely large cast of characters who are all travelling in and out of various decades. Even the main characters have several selves depending on which decade is being experienced in each chapter. This makes it really confusing to follow if you put the book down even for a few hours. Takes a while to get reoriented.
Because it takes quite some time to introduce all of the characters, the murder is not really the focus until the last third of the book and then it becomes a true 'whodunnit' and there are some nice twists to it. This is more about plot than characterization. Recommend reading in one sitting if possible.

I found this book incredibly confusing. I thoroughly enjoyed what I considered to be the main story-line, the murder mystery but the rest of the stories and characters around that central thread didn't seem to gel all that well. I loved the detailed world-building and the deep dive into the psychology of what it might be like to time travel (as per the title) but I'm afraid that the plot fell a bit flat.

This started off as a fun little novel about time travel, but I got increasingly frustrated with the woolly plot and irritating characters. Not for me I’m afraid!

I think I picked this up on sale a few years back and my wife and I read it concurrently. It has some interesting world building, particularly around some of the aberrant behaviour which could crop up with those who can travel through time, positing some fun hypotheticals.
The story is relatively basic and while not bad, was somewhat underwhelming and inconsequential, feeling more like a framing device to explore the concepts rather than a tale which had to be told. Still, there are some fun elements here, a mostly female cast of characters and it's a quick read (especially when I realised the final 30 odd pages comprised psychological scoring sheets).
