Stubborn as a Mule

Sylvie is incredibly stubborn and it's going to be her downfall if things don't change... and fast. It takes no time for danger to appear. While I appreciate the fight in her, it made me realize that she's been on her own for too long and without a local support system.

His approach may be a tad overbearing, but it was nice to see that her brother, half a world away, wants to help and does what he can by phoning a friend for help. Enter Karden.

Karden and Sylvie have as much animosity flowing as they do chemistry. OK, so it's mostly Sylvie. LOL! Girl has some seriously pent up anger.

Tears fall faster, and I wrap my arms around my midsection. I’m so fucking tired of being strong all the time. I’m tired of being alone and pushing everyone away. This can’t be my life.
-- Sylvie Santiago

I do like Karden a lot and love his plans for getting through to her and helping her not only solve the problem that brought him to her doorstep, but also give her a way to let go of other causes of her frustration. It might be a bit heavy-handed but appropriate.

Physically, she’s perfection. Beautiful, curvy, confident— everything I like. And I won’t lie. Her bitchy demeanor sends blood rushing straight to my cock. I’d love to bend her over while holding on to a fistful of her hair and fuck that attitude right out of her.

Nothing would make me happier.

-- Karden Billings

Oh, I also liked the soft introduction to another trio of men formerly in PsySpecOps. Mmm....

This was a phenomenal best friend’s sister romance. It was with out a doubt my favorite book by this author. It had such a compelling storyline and I couldn’t put it down. Karden and Sylvie had amazing chemistry and her bratty attitude towards him just made their romance even spicier. I didn’t want the story to end and I hope that Saint will get a story of his own.

Sylvie is stubborn, pigheaded, and refuses to let go of something that she doesn't need to hold onto especially when it threatens her life. When big brother Saint sends his army brother to her to keep her safe...he ends up doing a little more than that.

KC knocks another one out the park with her dominant military men who know how to really handle strong women who sometimes need to submit to get out of their heads. I can't wait to see what happens with Saint.
