I keep going back and forth on my feelings for this book. There were parts I loved, but they were intermingled with parts I found disappointing, and parts where the writing itself held back some interesting ideas. Overall a solid read, but not one I would be raring to go back to.

Ada gets away with literal murder while everyone else suffers. Everything is too easy with no real consequences. The story moves from one harebrained scheme to the next at the Kid's behest. Can't believe this is the book I chose to be the only book I've finished in a year.
