Wow this book is just bonkers. The MCs talk about lack of diversity but the author wrote it that way?!? Not to mention the using the few POC to either be fetishized or be morally bad.

After reading through a lot of reviews it definitely pointed out how problematic some of the things in this book are. On top of that, I took a break at 50% and just have had no interest in picking it back up and reading about these characters anymore.

PHENOMENAL read. Felt like the school dynamics of Harry Potter, but with vampires, LGBTQIA+, realistic villains driven by capitalist urges for money & power. SO GOOD.
