I have always been intrigued by stories of the gods. This one did not disappoint. A retelling of Loki, Thor, and Odin with a twist. The Witch’s Heart sucked me in and made me see the gods differently than what marvel movies gives us. Do I still love Loki? Yes. But this book made me feel just a bit different about him.

Circe, but make it norse mythology. I could not put this book down, if you like any Madeline Miller book you will love this one.

I liked the story and characters, I was just annoyed by the format. I hate seeing it divided into Part 1, part 2, part 3 and it’s super long. A feminist retelling is always a plus for me though.
