I want to live in a Jenny Colgan book! I was having a hard time concentrating on reading and this was just the ticket for some lovely, light escapism. Just a delight to read from beginning to end. I have the next book checked out and ready to go.

I read a lot of really dark stuff, but I also love a happy ending. Jenny's books are perfect for that. These would have been definite beach read recommendations. I can't wait to read the others about Mount Polbearne.
One note: HarperCollins is doing a bang up job of showing how stupid they think American audiences are when it comes to Jenny's books. From changing the name of one book to something that has no connection to the actual plot to putting a cupcake on this cover when the lead character bakes bread exclusively. Get it together, HC.
