Oh my god, I’m crying while writing this review. This book had me by a chokehold. I absolutely loved and savored every bit of this plot, the dialogue and the beautiful writing. I’m so sad I finished this book, I wish I could read it for the first time all over again. Frankie, an older retired military pilot, was the perfect match for Ophelia, a younger, fourth grade teacher who has her life planned to a T. I loved reading as they dismantled each others guards and lived out their chemistry. The tension and the spice was so fucking good. Karissa Kinword has a forever fan in me after this book. I already know this is a reread in the future. 10000/10 recommend this book.

Went into this book purely as it had Christmas the title and it was on my shelf. I was surprised about how invested I was in Frankie and Ophelia - there was some great banter, and movie worthy meet cutes and lots and lots of smut. Hahahah. Really decent read that will have you feeling all glowy.
