Ok ok….no Christmas book has the right to be as amazing as this was. I always rate my Christmas books like a 3-4 but no freaking way. Solid 5 ⭐️ right here. I wasn’t missing anything! Although…how did she not get a UTI from her numerous water activities 🤣that seemed a bit unrealistic. But this sounded like the best 3 weeks EVER! Plus the tension?! And the banter was amazing. One more thing…But how does he have a mustache tho? Like....no🤣 I’m on a hangover now from reading this. Exactly what I needed

Christmas in Coconut Creek by Kariisa Kinword is a 5-star holiday romance that takes readers on a sun-soaked journey filled with palm trees, sandy beaches, and the unexpected allure of a retired fighter pilot. Ophelia Brody's decision to escape to Coconut Creek for Christmas leads to a meet-cute with Frankie Casado that sparks a festive fling neither of them saw coming.
Kariisa Kinword crafts a tale that combines humor, sizzling chemistry, and a touch of Christmas magic. The characters, particularly Ophelia and Frankie, are not only well-developed but also immensely relatable. Ophelia's escape from her mundane dating life to the warmth of Coconut Creek and Frankie's charming yet shameless demeanor create a perfect storm of attraction.
The dynamics between Ophelia and Frankie are electric, and the author skillfully weaves their journey from friends with benefits to a deeper connection. The rules they set for their fling add a layer of humor, making their interactions both entertaining and heartwarming. As the story unfolds, the Christmas magic subtly weaves its way into their lives, stirring up emotions and complicating their pasts in the most enchanting way.

If you like Hallmark Christmas movies but wish they were raunchier, this is a good one.
This was not a quick read but it was cute. And I don’t normally do the insta love/lust.
Frankie, I have a thing for pilots. And I love an upfront guy.
And I like them in this mid thirties age range.
Ophelia was fun, smart and a solid FMC
Fun side characters.
Good banter.

Wooohooo! I loved this book!
.
.
.
It did start off a little too hot and heavy for me and my personal taste BUT I won't let that detract from my rating and my review. :) I love when romance novels also address heavier "real-life" issues but are also paired with things that can only happen in romance land. Frankie is a true gentleman and I love seeing him thrive. Ophelia is an absolute gem and I relate to her so deeply in her organization and type-A-ness.
.
Also, the hook of this book was amazing and hilarious. I think that Karissa is a truly talented writer and I am looking forward to reading her other book at some point, hopefully soon :) Woohoo - indie!

It's just too long for the story it's telling. It's not that interesting. Their dynamic gets stale.
