I don't read much contemporary romance because it usually feels boring. This broke the mold a bit because the banter was top tier, and it definitely had me wanting to turn the page because they keep getting interrupted before they can.... ahem...
I found out about this book a few days after Christmas and I had to read it because I live in coconut creek Florida ! But this book was seriously so good. Like a Christmas romance has NO business being this freaking amazing. So good ! I also hate third act break ups and there wasn’t one here ! Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Loved it ! Loved it !
This was my favorite holiday book of 2023. Even thought this wasn't a binge read the plot flowed at a good pace. Frankie is a straight shooter in the best way and Ophelia was very relatable. The banter was top tier as was the spice. I'm not a huge fan of fake dating tropes but the Christmassy elements, comedy and fun characters made up for it.

My goodness…. Frankie and Ophelia are just perfect. The banter between these two was amazing and so freaking funny. The dialogue throughout this book was just so great and the one liners had me cracking up. The side characters were amazing as well I can’t tell you how much I laughed at some of the things Natalia would say. She is definitely the best friend everyone needs. This book is taking place during Christmas but honestly only a couple parts felt christmassy which I kind of liked for this book.

i have no complaints abut this book! i loved it! great character development from everyone involved, good banter, chemistry, plot, etc. the main couple's journey was so beautiful and fulfilling. i can't wait for more dirty delta books bc i need MORE!!
