i'd rate this somewhere between 1-1,5 stars
repetitive, characters you get frustrated over, the overall book feeling like a draft and i also didn't like the premise of having the ML fall in love with his brother's wife kind of story. especially since the brother was just missing it almost felt like cheating. there's better books with similar plot (aka captive x captor) than this one. also think this is my least fav of the maffia romance books i've read. and like someone else have mentioned here in another review: violence is not equivalent with dark romance.

Such a great book.. I love Amelia's & Gabriel's relationship . I know, I know... Stockholm syndrome is real!! But this definitely gave me a "realer" version of 365 days, but with more action!! This is my 1st book by Ria Wilde... && Ria.. you did not disappoint.. this book had me hooked from beginning to end

look is this a literary masterpiece objectively speaking? probably not. Was I however fully entertained the entire time, read the entire thing in one night and squealed at every single THATS MY WIFE shit? Hell yes.

I loved it, and thats that. Gabriel, what can you say....he is fierce in all he does whether it is work, killing, protecting, fucking you name it. And when you think you've see it all from him, he cries. I'M DONE!!!❤️
