Every single person was stupid.
Except maybe Devon and Enzo.

So I don’t really appreciate dark romances where it’s so dark I cannot figure out if the male lead is right or wrong. I know I make no sense but in my head I do. This book obviously had gory details but the relationship Amelia and Gabriel had, chefs kiss

This was my first book as intro to dark romance and I instantly fell in love with this genre because of this book. I believe that mafia romance is now my favorite trope. I guess you’d call it. But this does contain kidnapping of a mother and child. Forced marriage. Gun fights and more. This is a fast paced slow burn book. But definitely the kind of book you want to be on your TBR immediately. The male main character is a “touch her and die” kind of man. He doesn’t care if you’re family or friend or foe. If you touch her you will die.

I loved this book! Right from the start, it gave you a mystery and drama. All the way through I was biting my nails and trying to figure out the who did it mystery (I will admit I guessed it about half way through) but I was still shocked that it was who I thought! It is a slow burn but the intensity between the FMC and MMC is there from the start. Once you get to 50% its soo spicy that I was barely able to put this book down. Highly recommend!
