✒"How do you live without scars? How do you live without constantly cutting yourself on your own desires, your own sharp edges?"

🌟🌟🌟🌟. 5 - Nino Haratischwili's masterpiece of The Eighth Life has become one of my favourite books of all time. So as soon as her new release dropped through my door I devoured it. It was so different but took me right back to Georgia, gave me more of the political history of that country that fascinates me to no end. Most importantly, I fell in love with Nino's writing all over again. The beauty in the rawness, bluntness and gritty emotions that are uncovered throughout. The comfortable and the uncomfortable. The breaking of identity. It has been described as a modern day Wuthering Heights and I can absolutely see the resemblance in the destructive qualities of the family dynamic. Thank you @scribe_uk for giving me the opportunity to devour another beauty ❤️I absolutely recommend, though expect something very different from The Eighth Life
