God, this was perfect to get into the festive spirit. I admire KJ's attempts to get us acquainted with these characters in such a short time, she did well!

Interesting fact: while I was reading this I attended a short concert giving a retrospective of Christmas music and it's influences on American Colonial celebrations and beyond. One of the first carols they sung was Masters in This Hall. I'd never heard of it before, so the coincidence had me smiling.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story of revenge. It's a perfect little bundle of action and romance with great characters. It made me want to go back and read the Lilywhite Boys series again, too.

Perfect little Christmas treat - a fun, quick-paced plot, a very sweet romance despite the setup, cameos of old friends, lots of festive cheer and plenty of puns to make this Dickens fan happy.
