This was assigned reading for school. At first, I was not looking forward to this book because I couldn't care less about celebrities, but Noah is thankfully one of the few interesting ones. You get some great history into South Africa. Reading about Noah's life was enjoyable.

I listened to this as an audiobook read by Trevor Noah himself and holy shit, what a life. I learned so much about life as a POC in South Africa and about Trevor Noah. I feel like the fact that Trevor read it himself added a lot to the experience, so if you have the choice, go for the audiobook!
