I will never read another autobiography after this because this one’s THE STANDARD!
emotional funny medium-paced

These stories from Trevor Noah's childhood in South Africa are both entertaining and fascinating. I just struggle with autobiographies that jump around different time periods, as I'm left wondering why we've gone from early 20s back to age 11 again!
funny hopeful informative reflective medium-paced

trevor is a gem and this is a perfect memoir. that’s all
challenging emotional funny reflective fast-paced

Fast read, and easy despite some heavy themes. The lack of chronological order was confusing at times.

Hesitated between 4 and 5 ⭐
I had so much fun listening to this book!
Trevor takes you to a journey in his most important childhood memories..
These include funny, tensed and exciting ones.

I would recommend this book to basically... everyone! since it's easy can fit to the majority

I didn’t know anything about Trevor Noah before but in this book he makes the townships of South Africa come alive. It’s a story of motherly love and resilience written in a way that makes you feel you’re there chatting to Trevor. Not something I’d usually choose but I highly recommend it
