Great book. I learned so much about South Africa and really appreciated reflections on racism,  colonialism, and eurocentrism. All without feeling like a trauma dump or torture porn. Love to see it.

So enlightening, and funny. And sad, too. As a white kid, growing up on the west coast of the U.S. in the 70s and 80s, the little I knew about South Africa from the news, a teacher or two and popular music (i.e. Peter Gabriel) broke my heart. Mr. Noah's is one story (of many detailed, raw and yet tender stories) but there is so much in here! He is inspiring. I recommend it.
