This is like the Rorschach inkblot test of novels: you'll walk away from it inspired or repulsed. I'm in the inspired camp, in my mind Don Quixote sees a painfully boring world and tries to transform it into his own brilliant vision that could be real if we just tried harder. It's a perfect novel.

One of my all time favorites. Doesn’t matter how many times I read. Every time I feel same at the end and cry for a few days. 

I guess Don Quixote de Mancha is one of the best fictional characters ever created and one of the best novels ever.
