I wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did, and I keep going back and forth on a rating - overall, I found it frustrating and pretentiously written. But the writing is good if heavily stylised, and some parts of the book are more enjoyable (the Jormungandr arc stood out for me). The pacing felt weird, it took me most of the book to work out what the point of the book was (or if there even was one), and it was just a bit disappointing for someone who really loves and engages with the Norse myths (and the confusion around them).
