this book reads like a fable, reflecting on important life lessons through a storyline that felt like myths and legends; having the courage to follow your goals when external factors settle in, pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone in any phase of your life. i lost the plot at times— it may have been too religious and spiritual for me.

This is a great story for meaning, not so much for language—it’s a fantastical fable of a man finding his purpose in life. It was a nice read to convey hope, the importance of struggle, and the need for love in life. Is it the best book I’ve ever read? No, but it does have something to offer.
