I loved the whimsy of this book. It was a pleasant, readable story that incourages its readers to consider that there is much to gain along the journey.

Oftentimes when I reflect on my life and decisions, I wonder if I should have made one choice over the other but then I remember, I never would have learned this thing, meat that person, or had that experience otherwise.

I agree that while making the right choices in life is important, it's not the be all and end all because so much growth and learning happens between the decision to make a choice, and the destination.

Sounds very cheesy to me. Perhaps its something I would've liked when I was 12 but now I think it's very much pretentious and that it ignores the many that find their own "purpose" in the simple life without having to go on a dramatic journey. I dislike that it sounds arrogant at times towards people who may put aside what they desire to help their families or friends, as well as non-religious and non-spiritual folks.
