What a wild ride. Watching Tori fall apart like that was shocking and something I wasn't really prepared to see in such intensity. Her relationship with Michael was tragic and also lovely, and so complicated. Overall, this story just blew my mind. It was like watching a car wreck, I couldn't look away and there was nothing anyone could do but let it happen.

This book wow is crazy, it’s actually amazing, one of the best Alice Osman books in my opinion.
In my opinion I think that Lucas making solitaire was definitely predictable and Lucas being in love with Tori and super predictable, I think it would have been better if it was someone else in my opinion.
but that’s really where my complaints end, this book is a very good book but is dark at times. Definitely recommend!

This has been my favourite Alice Oseman book that I’ve read so far. I think it’s because I relate a lot to Tori Spring and the way she thinks. She’s very self deprecating and pessimistic, and is clearing struggling with her mental health.
Michael Holden is such a wonderful character, he’s really the only one who notices Tori is struggling but doesn’t push her to open up about her feelings and admit that she’s having a rough time. I really enjoyed watching their friendship grow throughout the book as they’re trying to find out who is behind solitaire - this anonymous group that is pulling “pranks” on the school, but the pranks keep getting bigger and dangerous and the police and school are pretty much doing nothing to stop them.
