Good for the history of indians and such but very graphic and lots of inappropriate parts. I had to read it for a class so maybe that's why I didn't like it very much

A quiet novel that doesn't do much and moves slowly. Waters flirts dangerously with the line between honest and respectful portrayal and caricature, and he doesn't have much to offer his female characters.
