"Me and you, we're inevitable"

Keller rose up from his humble beginnings as a street fighter to become the world heavyweight boxing champion. Behind the scenes, he is working to pay off his debts to the mafia - with only one last fight standing in his way of freedom. Sienna is newly single and is not in the market for a new relationship - that is until she literally lands in Keller's lap. With Keller's focus on his freedom and Sienna's reluctance towards relationships, can they overcome their trauma and get their happily ever after?

This was a fine read with a heavy emphasis on spice rather than the connection between the MCs. Keller and Sienna's communication absolutely sucks and every conflict was resolved way too quickly - rinse and repeat several times over. The story was a tad bit too long and I would have liked to see more high stakes drama. The ex-fiance storyline was promising but was missing for a large chunk of the book - by the time the conflict popped back up, I wasn't invested. I will likely give the next book in the series a chance so I was a little bit annoyed the epilogue kinda gave away some spoilers for the potential next couple in the series.

This tone is just absolutely not doing it for me.

Almost good. The pet names annoyed me and the writing was odd at times.

OMG

This book was a ride, here is my short review in the form of. Few lovely bully points:

1. How is this book called distance when they barely spend any time away and are actively fucking every 5 seconds?!?

2. SOOO MUCH FUCKING AND FOR WHATTTTT

3. Plot? Never heard of her

Incredibly predictable plot. If you’re looking for basically straight spice with a boring plot and boring characters, by all means, go for it.
