Why I keep reading books based on random booktok recommendations when I know very well I won't like them that much and I'll end up giving them 1 or 2 stars I have no idea! They're repetitive and get boring in the middle, but do I devour them? Absolutely. That aside, this one isn't bad but forced pregnancy isn't my thing

Best book ever! Well written. Well thought out. Well researched! It’s so so so so good. I can’t wait for more! You need to read this!!
I have mixed feelings about the book. While I enjoyed it, it didn't stand out as exceptional. I can’t shake the impression that I was somewhat influenced into liking it.
I appreciated the witty banter and the pranks the two characters pulled off. Some scenes were genuinely funny, and there was good chemistry between them.
However, the plot gave me whiplash with how quickly they switched from considering divorce to deciding to stay together.
Overall, I found the story enjoyable, and I’m eagerly looking forward to Nicolas's next book.

We’ve got angst for days and a feisty FMC, what more is needed?! This is a slow burn so don’t rely that deter you if that’s not your favorite theme, but the way that the MMC has his AH-HA moment is beautiful and the struggles both MC’s go through bring so much relatable energy into the book. The spice hits on the best notes and as a reader I am rooting for both MC’s to get what they want, which is a testament to the authors character building. There are some darker themes and some off page TW’s to be mindful of in all a great story and I look forward to the next book!

Alexander and Imogen brought the heat. Alexander was swoon worthy. I really enjoyed watching them fall in love.
Graphic: Cursing, Sexual content, Kidnapping
Moderate: Suicide, Death of parent
Minor: Domestic abuse, Kidnapping, Grief, Murder
I highly recommend this book!! I really enjoyed it and look forward to Nicholas and Victoria’s story.
