John Green is truly a master when it comes to creating characters you care about and a story that is almost impossible to stop reading... or in this case, stop listening to. A compelling story from an amazing writer.

This book was not for me unfortunately! I found this to be boring and uneventful. I thought I would really like this since my favorite book is TFIOS. Overall, the beginning was strong and seemed really interesting. About half way, that changed. The pace was overall slow and I didn’t find the ending that exciting. It kept dragging on in my opinion.

So since of recent I have adopted a new hobby: Reading Maps. Now not only is it a life skill, it also highlights how small we are and how big the world out there is.

This book cultivated my already existing love for maps.

John Green has always knows to hit the philosophical POV of things. Its one of many characteristics that makes his writing so.... Unique. This book, includes characters that almost anyone can relate to and moments in life that we have all passed through.

What Margo Roth Spiegelman says and how she thinks makes us and Quentin re-evaluate everything about life. Why we are here, what is our purpose and makes you realize to live in the moment and not for the future. Everything she does and what unfolds after sees; incredibly unlikely parings, rebellious behaviour from Quentin and his best friends Ben and Radar who are the poster-boys for "WELL-BEHAVED STUDENTS" and also A ROADTRIP which is so hilarious.
What makes this book even better is the hilarious quips, easy language, rather vivid descriptions of every moment, relatable thoughts of the characters and fast paced writing. And the PAPER TOWN aspect of the whole book puts forward two meanings; one with heavy literary depth and the other with a surface definition.

NGL, after I finished the book, the first thing I did was watch the movie. And it gave me the roadtrip that I wanted from the book but not an accurate ending.

As of now, PAPER TOWNS is my second favourite John Green book.
