I LOVED this book! Totally clueless, did NOT see it coming. The ending was kinda meh but the twist woah BABY
This book was incredible. I have only read one previous book by the author and thought it was good, but this one was even better. Once you think you know what is happening, something comes to light that changes your thinking or makes you second guess yourself. This is a definite must-read for anyone who likes psychological thrillers in the vein of Ruth Ware and Lisa Jewell.

This one was intriguing and quite a bit spooky. I wasn't always sure where things were going to end up. And, honestly... I don't think this book actually set itself up so you could guess the ending. It felt like it was missing a piece that helped me piece it together. Maybe it was there and I didn't see it, but normally I catch onto those things.
Regardless, I liked the thriller. It had me glued to the book and binging and I was invested in it.
The pacing was a pinch slow for my liking, but my need to know what happened made me push through it.
I will absolutely check out more books by Megan Miranda. This was one I read when I had a headache and didn't really want to have to do a full deep dive into a book so review purposes, so it did it's job. I liked the psychological thriller and would read more.

From just imagining what she went through to the new terrors stalking her from the shadows, to her strange sleepwalking and the unrelenting sense of always being watchedâŠit culminates into a superb story with its share of surprises that Iâve come to love from this authorâs books.
Friends, family, foesâŠthey all meld together, and it creates a frustrating and frightening world to live in. Is this FMC trustworthy? Crazy? Is someone with or without good reason gaslighting her? I was definitely on tenterhooks as I waited to see how everything played out. And a big no thanks to ever being swept away and stuck in a storm drain. đ«Ł

Figured out one of the big twists early on and honestly the ending just seemed silly. Not my cup of tea.
