Art style = impeccable
Story line was so intricate and complicated that even though I got a bit confused, I'm definitely coming back for more!

I wanted to love this one but it really fell short. The plot was muddled and unclear. I'm all for a good women seeking revenge story but I honestly felt like I had so little idea of what was actually going on. Despite this, I am intrigued to read volume 2 at some point because it seems that's where it all ties together. It's also worth mentioning it has some weird vibes about sex workers that weren't cool.

While I didn’t always love the art style, Bellaire really is an excellent colorist. The plot is thick and juicy. Revenge horror is always a delight and Redlands serves it up right. I can’t wait for Volume 2!

Chapter 1 introduces us to a town in Florida and a failed lynching. The tree burns, the hangman‘s nooses swing empty in the blaze… Witches survive, kill a bunch of people and take over the town. Chapter 2 introduces them some more, there is violence, nudity, pointless swearing and obnoxious male characters. It didn‘t do anything for me, I disliked all of the characters. The art was meh. Not continuing.

La verdad es que esperaba otra cosa. La historia tiene potencial, el dibujo es demasiado guarrete para mi gusto, pero tengo ganas de ver como sigue el tebeo.

I'm not super down with the witchcraft and the lack of clarity about who is good, but I definitely got caught up in the town.

I really wanted to like this series more but honestly, I don’t even know what it was about??? The plot, if there even is one, is very hard to follow. Nothing is explained. None of the characters are likeable because we don’t get to know anything about them. I’m sad about this.
