What a sweet, cozy, Christmas book.
Bailey is a teenager who loves Christmas. She works part time at a bookstore. And her Christmas wish this year is for a kiss under the Mistletoe with a guy who she really likes.
But it’s December before any guy comes onto the scene.
Bailey meets Jacob and Charlie around the same time.
Jacob is a little rough around the edges. She knows him from school but barely knows him at all. He stops into the bookstore to buy books but forgets his wallet. The next time she sees him she realizes he’s sweet.
Bailey has more of a meet cute with Charlie. He’s handsome and British and comes to her rescue.
She likes both of them for awhile but isn’t sure whether she’s being put in the friend zone.
Ultimately, she gets her Christmas wish with one of the guys.
And in the meantime there’s lots of Christmas festivity like cookie swaps, decorating, tree farms, shopping etc etc. very Christmassy.
Would definitely recommend this one.

I agree with the other reviews, the ending is so weird

This book was already bad enough with Bailey “not like the other girls” Briggs as the main character, but the end plot twist made me want to throw this book in the fire, it was so stupid.

Super cute book. Cozy read to get you in the holiday spirit. I think it’s geared toward the younger audience like middle school or freshmen age. Little surprise towards the end I wasn’t expecting.
3.5 stars - this was cute but made for a younger audience. Nice quick read
it wasn’t horrible. v fast read, so that’s always a plus. however, it did get a little questionable in regards to whether or not magic existed in this universe. i enjoyed it but it wasn’t my favorite. super cliché though so beware
