I’m not sure how Shari LaPena is able to write a multi POV story with so many different viewpoints and only one narrator— and you can easily follow it. I think she repeats often what the characters relationships are to each other, which keeps your mind focused on the right character. This one is full of all the twists and secrets. I loved it!

Thank you @prhaudio @pameladormanbooks for this fantastic domestic thriller.
We have Sam and Bryden who appears to be a perfect couple with a beautiful daughter, a perfect marriage, great careers and great group of friends. One day, Bryden fails to pick up her daughter and is missing.
We see how everyone is impacted by Bryden being missing from her husband, sister, parents and best friend. I loved that everyone is unlikeable and also a suspect involved with her disappearance.
The investigation part of the story was well done and created such a long list of suspects.
January LaVoy does a great job on the narration. She kept me on the edge of my seat and wondering what happened to Bryden.

This book really kept me guessing who was the murderer until the very end. All of the suspects were believable

I thoroughly enjoyed this! Although, if I hadn’t known the author, I would probably have guessed Freida McFadden, the style is SO similar! I have been reading Shari Lapeba for years though and started on McFadden only quite recently.
Bryden and Sam are the perfect couple with their good jobs and beautiful 3-year old. When Bryden disappears, everyone is surprised and worried. Eventually she turns up dead. There are many possible culprits, including the apartment block creep.
The story is told through many perspectives and they film each other out nicely and are easy enough to keep apart. Having read too many books of this kind, I guessed the perp early but wasn’t sure until the very end.
