Gripping - I didn't want to put it down. One of King's more unknown ones but definitely underrated.

More like, 3,5 stars, it was not bad, but the pace was kind of slow and I woudl actually edited the book more - there were scenes, which did not have to be there and were a little bit pointles.

“I put my pencil down, and that was when Big Pink spoke to me for the first time. Its voice was softer than the sigh of the Gulf’s breathing, but I heard it quite well just the same.
I’ve been waiting for you, it said.”

My mind: blown.

A book that I really had no idea where it was taking me. A long almost ponderous first third of the book until the usual King weirdness starts to happen. I found myself wishing that the weirdness would begin much sooner.
Once the weirdness starts the book gets much more interesting, and with an ending that I felt ticked all the boxes, I wasn't disappointed.
