A very disappointing story for me.

Just like the 3rd book of this series, this story does talk about women's right as well in terms of equal treatment of women with an ambition and their desire of more greater education level, professionalism and job opportunities and also the society's prejudices to women like this.

What disappointed me the most was the execution of the building relationship, the chemistry of the two characters, the presentation of the topic were overshadowed by the dryness of the execution of the writing

I felt that this story was kind of rushed that I didn't get to see more of a development of the characters to the point that most of the story parts, I have to go back to the previous page just to understand.

Sadly, I didn't enjoy this that much and was very disappointed with how it turns out.

4.5/5 Loved this one. Garrett is a badass surgeon and anyone who says she became less badass because she fell in love is wrong. Ethan is everything. Docked one half star for Garrett suddenly changing her mind on a particular life goal. Thankfully the book ended in such a way that I can pretend she just thought it and never acted on it and they lived out their days how I want.

I'm looking forward to West's book-- he was charming as hell in this one.
